
Dr. Liubov Kreminska
Dr. Liubov Kreminska is the Associate Director for Administration and Advising for the Earth System and Environmental Engineering (ESE) Program at The City College of New York. She is recognized for her dedication to teaching, research, and mentorship, and has made a lasting impact in physics education and the academic advancement of students in STEM.
Prior to her current role, Dr. Kreminska served as an Assistant Professor of Physics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney (UNK), where she was deeply engaged in student mentoring and collaborative research. Her commitment to involving undergraduates in scientific inquiry earned her the College of Natural and Social Sciences Research Mentoring Award. Many of her students have gone on to receive prestigious NASA Fellowships, undergraduate research awards, and placements in nationally competitive Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) programs.
Dr. Kreminska’s research collaborations have spanned institutions, including work with physicists at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and with colleagues in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at UNK. In addition to her academic contributions, she has actively served the scientific community through committee service and as a judge for the Nebraska Junior Academy of Sciences, Central Region.
