  • MS in Environmental/Water Resources Engineering (CE)

Sample Joint Degree/Diploma Program Structure for ESE Students pursuing MS Degree:

1. Policy-Related Courses (3 credits) Select one course from the list below:

  • Strategic Management of Public Organizations and Public Policy
  • International Law (IR B6300, taught by Krasno)
  • Foreign Policy and Decision Making (IR B6933, taught by Krasno)

2. Remote Sensing and GIS Courses (3 credits) Select one course from the list below:

  • Remote Sensing for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  • Data Science and GIS for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

3. Research Project (3 credits)

  • Students will undertake a 3-credit research project over a semester, addressing a UN-related challenge. This project will focus on applying Remote Sensing and GIS technologies to work in the areas such as water extremes and resilience, disaster risk management, health impacts of environmental change, or policy innovations for climate and sustainability.
