January 2026 Workshop

Hosted by R-SIRUS in January 2026, this five-day workshop prepared researchers, students, and practitioners to use remote sensing, AI/ML, and open-science tools for sustainability and resilience. Through hands-on learning, participants built practical skills in satellite data analysis, geospatial tools, and machine learning with Python, while expanding their professional networks and completing a capstone project with real-world relevance.
